Lychgate View is our passion and although we have only been going a short while it means so much to us to have such wonderful guests and to read all of the lovely comments. "What a wonderful cottage! I moved away from this area 20 years ago and decided on a sentimental whim to return with my daughter. Great idea!
My daughter loved the secret room and didn't want to leave! Spurn Point is well worth a visit, great café and lovely walks. The beach at Mappleton is great for fossil hunting and on a wet day try Bugtopia in Hornsea. We will obviously return. — Lindsay, 24 Feb 2023
"Thank you for a fab break and all the little extras that make this cottage a lovely place to stay. Local village is tranquil and shop a few yards away has everything you could need. Fresh eggs around the corner too!.

"The cottage far exceeded our expectations, it is very well equipped and like a home from home. The bedding and pillows were amazing and the view of the church across the road was lovely, especially at night when it was all lit up.
The garden is secure for the dogs which is important for us and the location couldn't have been better with miles of gorgeous beach at Mappleton and Fraisthorpe close by and Hornsea and Bridlingtion only a stones throw away.
The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them, the complimentary fresh items were much appreciated. We are already looking at dates when we can return" — Lisa, 06 Feb 2023
