The cottage is dog friendly and is situated in the village of Aldbrough in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The cottage is ideally situated in the ancient heart of the village and is directly opposite the historic St Bartholomew's church and named after the historic Lychgate which can be seen directly across the lane from the cottage.
The cottage is ideally located to explore all that East Yorkshire has to offer. Situated around a mile from the sea and in a rural location Lychgate view provides the best of coast, country and town. Around 6 miles from the bustling seaside hub of Hornsea and within easy reach of many local beaches, the cities of Hull and York, the Yorkshire Wolds, moors and local wildlife reserves such as Spurn Point and Bempton.
